MuçiLaw Legal Services is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. We comply with all the applicable legislation and regulations in the territory of the Republic of Albania such as Law no. 9887 of 10.03.2008, as amended with law no. 48/2012, and law no. 120/2014 “For the protection of personal data”, besides the Constitution, the European Convention of Human Rights and other applicable or relevant laws such as the European General Data Protection Regulation.

Pursuant to the law “For the protection of personal data”, “personal data” is every information related to a natural person, identified or identifiable, directly or indirectly, in particular referring to an identifying number or one or more special factors for his physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity (Art. 3(1) of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data).

We, as a controller of data, have the responsibility to implement the requirements of Art. 5 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data. Namely, the fair and legal processing of the data, collecting data for specific purposes, data adequacy only related to the purpose of processing, data accuracy and data maintenance allowing it to be stored only for the period of time of the purpose of collection.

We do not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which we collected it, or to comply with any legal, regulatory or reporting obligations or to assert or defend against legal claims. We abide by the requirements of Article 6 et seq. of Law on the Protection of Personal Data.

Pursuant to Arts. 12 et seq. of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, you have the following rights:
– The right to access (Art. 12);
– The right to request the blocking, correction or erasure (Art. 13);
– The right to not be subject of automatic decision-making which causes legal effects or importantly affect him/her and when the decision based on the automatic decision-making aims at evaluating some personal aspects, particularly, effectiveness in working, credibility or behaviour (Art. 14);
– The right to object (Art. 15);
– The right to complain (Art. 16).

Our obligations as controller and processor per Arts. 18 et seq. of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data are as follows:
– The obligation to inform (Art. 18);
– The obligation to correct and erase (Art. 19);
– Responsibility to notify (Art. 21);
– The obligation to take the proper security measures (Art. 27).
